Everything You Need to Know
Sending a child to camp builds positive development in self-confidence, social integration, nature appreciation, and emotional intelligence skills such as empathy. Performing music on stage is a form of storytelling that provides children with a chance to express themselves without the fear of being judged. Combine these two and you get, Into the Woods MusiCamp!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
Can children use their cellphones to call home while they’re at camp?
If we believe that it is best for your child to call home then we will definitely allow this. However, it has been my experience that when a child calls home and talks to a happy parent who can't wait to hear all about camp at the end of the week, that child remains at camp and is fine minutes after ending the call. We all miss our kids terribly while they are away, yet camp is a fabulous experience for them. Camp builds amazing new friendships, brings old friends closer, and gives children a sense of pride in accomplishing something on their own.
Can I send care packages to my child?
Care packages are welcome. Please remember, however, that your child will be in a room with 3 or 4 other campers and sharing is encouraged.
What type of training do the counselors receive?
All of our counselors will have had extensive training with me so that they are equipped to handle many different camp scenarios from homesickness to Capture the Flag. I was a camp counselor for 6 summers of my life as well as a teacher for over 30 years.  Our counselors have also been hired because of their time spent with children. I am not simply hiring people I interview; these are counselors that I have taught voice to for years or have known in some other close capacity. All of our counselors also have their Act 33 and 34 Clearances.
